Welcome, Jacob!

May is here and has brought beautiful spring weather, and with the spring a new family member. Jacob David was born via c-section on April 18 at 1:29 a.m. At 7 lbs. 12 oz. and 20.1 in. long, he is an absolute sweetheart. Tomorrow, he will be two weeks old. So far he has made it through jaundice, a circumcision, and is currently being treated for thrush. Each day is a new adventure, and we are so blessed to have this little miracle in our lives. He has a way of gripping tight our hearts with each sigh and coo, and the way he gazes into our eyes captures every breath that we breathe. We are so grateful for this child!
